      Hope one of the best of the World and the best of the Netherlands choose wisely and get rid of Barcelona (who destroys his career), but also choose a club who makes him even better and a world star. I don’t know MU is that club at the moment. ETH as a coach, yes. But not the club (right now). He wasted 3 years on his ‘dreamclub’ who made him almost even worse and that club had a bad financial, tactical plan. And no future soon. I want him at the top now, I want a star player for the Netherlands, we deserve it. After many bad years.       All the united fans, don't get excited. Frankie just said he is at the best club in the world. That just means 1 thing. And if any club knows what does it means to bring a player without his will, that is Manchester United. Remember Di maria?

      To everyone saying we need a CDM instead of De Jong:

      1. He's from Ajax's youth system. There every midfielder has to be able to play in every midfield position (same goes for Van de Beek and Eriksen)

      2. His best position and where he plays for Holland is CDM. He can't play there for Barcelona cause they have Busquets who is a home grown legend (politics involved)

      3. Not every CDM has to be a destroyer (the position Makalele made famous). De Jong is more of a Carrick style CDM in that his defensive duties are dependent on positioning and intelligence not just aggression.

      4. He does also like a tackle and above all, he's a deep lyjmg playmaker who controls the game from there and hardly ever gives the ball away (whether dribbling or passing)

      A midfield trio of Eriksen, Van der Beek and De Jong would be surreal with extreme intelligence, great fitness, high ball retention and the ability for all 3 to switch places and cover for each other all over the park. This would allow Ten Haag play his preferred philosophy which is to dominate possession and control the game on the front foot.

      As a midfielder i have the most opportunities to have the ball more than other position.. when i have the ball i have 5 to 10 option about what to do with the ball, i have to decide what best option i could make in about less then 1 second. Too long to decide, or making bad decision, i could loose the ball.. loosing the ball as a midfielder opponent can hit a very dangerous counter attack.. imagine taking that responsibilities in 90 minutes or more..

      Barcelona is blind, at this moment Frenkie is way better than Busquets. He can intelligently protect the ball, has both short and long passes, plus he can press forward.

      There was no intensity, no pressure, 0 workrate from the Belgians at the midfield. Sadly everything you expect from a nations league game played at the end of the season
