In this analysis, I break down Casemiro’s standout performance in Manchester United’s 4-1 Europa League semi-final victory over Athletic Bilbao.

From deep-lying playmaking to defensive dominance, Casemiro rolled back the years with a display full of control, vision, and leadership. I analyze his passing range, positioning, interception timing, and tactical intelligence β€” and show how he dictated the tempo of the game.

Let’s analyze!

  1. Case has turned into Mctominay. He isn’t still good enough defensively and in possession. That’s exactly what we need, a midfielder that is press resistant with his back to the press, good passer & in possession and a good ball winner. A fdj with a kante engine. Maybe we can get a better fee from Saudi for him

  2. You are correct, Cas is very professional and respectful, he could have bitched about being left out but didn't. The only yhing I know that he has said is that he doesn't want to leave, that he likes it here at Manu . His wages are still a problem but if he can start turning in performances like this, not just in European matches but also in the Prem he's worth the money.

  3. The resurrection of Casemiro needs to be studied. I’m glad scarlet noticed it as well. MOTM yesterday with Yoro second. Let’s go and win this now. Man Utd – Football HERITAGE πŸ”΄βšͺ️⚫️

  4. You're as solid as your bench. Get him to agree to a wage cut and bring another deep playmaker. Else develop Tobby and Sekou overnight

  5. It's my expectation that Uncle Case will be at the club helping the young, and new midfielders learning the rop.Keep it up Samba boy!

  6. We are 14th in the league for a reason. I like to be excited, too, but the big picture is still weak. We started play good in the 65th min

  7. Scanning before receiving the ball is what too many of our players lack. They receive the ball, then look – by which time it's too late, and the opposition press has closed the options.

  8. THE BOYS SHOULD BE TAUGHT HOW TO BEAT OFFSIDE TRAPS, THEY SHOULD REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF BEING offside. football has changed, if nobody has told them there is this thing called VAR, you cant be naive all the time knowing that your chin could be the difference between an offside decision, just stand like casemiro and kill the possibility of offside. it is really disgusting. almost everyone has adapted but we are still playing football like the 2008 style standing offside before the freekick is taken, hoping to 'magically' get onside. that must stop.

  9. Super busy all day but the thought of relaxing at the end of the day to watch your analysis of the game over a blunt was what kept me honest…
Its 1am in the morning and yours is the very 1st video i want to watch as soon as i open YouTube…
    Well done Scarlet.
Btw this is before ive actually watch the video πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  10. Great analysis. Never heard of you before but I am a convert now. Casemiro has not just silenced the fans and the Utd hierarchy but also the likes of Carragher. Casemiro was off the pace due to a lack of condition and fitness and through that lost his confidence. He has restored pride in himself as his performances have shown what a midfield monster he is. As long as he remains fit he can remain as a top class midfielder. Well done to him and Amorim. GGMU

  11. Absolutely right. We need a young midfielder than can be a starter, do all that basic minimum and have a slightly different profile. Variety is what won us that game on Thursday

  12. His movement for that goal was incredible. Hojlund needs to take notes. Him, Maguire and Bruno have really stepped up of late, as senior squad members. Notable mention to Yoro as well.

  13. Mr Scarlet report can you do a video on Mount? The way he scanned and received the ball, his passes were spot on. I think no one has played the no 10 position, operating in the exact place Amorim wants like Mount

  14. Played in his position enough said ten hagg asked too much let him cook in deep mid then u get what u paid for the guys clutch just cause neville and carragher says different means nothing them bell ends arent the messiahs just sound bites fact

  15. Winning Europa s not about casemiro or Bruno but rather about tactics of Amorim and the tactics of Ange Postecoglou. In the EPL we have seen that the tactics of Ange Postecoglou are superior to Amorim's since he has beaten Amorim twice. Ange Postecoglou is going to confirm that he is superior tactically than Amorim. United with Amorim will lose Europa league final
