Jeremie Frimpong would be happy to move to Liverpool if they decide to sign a right-back this summer.
The Bayer Leverkusen defender has told the Bundesliga club he wants to leave.
The 24-year-old is one of the names on Liverpool’s shortlist of potential signings, and he has a £29.5m (€35m) release clause.

Bradley is injury prone. There is nothing bad in having two quality right backs competing for the spot. After all we had Bradley and TAA.
Frimpong, Cherki, Kerkez, Rodrygo, & a CB & striker, if they get Rodrygo the latter might be one or the other but Liverpool have gotta check all the boxes to push on next season mayn

No problem having two young talented right backs in the team. If Bradley is going to continue to develop, he needs more competition than Gomez or Quansah. Maybe Frimpong becomes a forward. Maybe you sell one of them for a ton of money in a year or two.

He's perfect as Liverpool don't really have a very good backup for Salah, and salah plays at least 80 minutes every game, SO its pointless buying a top right winger who's never going to get a game. With Frimpong, Bradley gets on in the 80th minute for Salah and Frimpong will just move to the wing.

Connor is still a project at 21. He will if he continues to develop be first choice but maybe in the next year or two. In the meantime we need someone who can come in straight away and fill the gap or at least act as a backup. Imagine Connor learning his attacking role from Frimpong and defensive role from VVD… hopefully he learnt his passing/ball striking from TAA before he leaves? Chefs kiss!
