How many greats move leagues/teams and struggle. They have pretty identical stats but Ronaldo did move around and prove he could adapt quickly. It's fair to assume Messi wouldn't have had as good stats and trophies if he had played in more leagues. These 2 are the greatest cause of how consistent they are, Ronaldo did it while moving around. Saying Messi is the best is completely fair but to discredit what Ronaldo did is crazy. "The only argument" it's a hell of an argument. Barcelona was nasty for years, they invented the tiki taka, Barca without Messi won a world cup and 2 euros(as in their core spanish players). Messi was always very protected and supported Ronaldo had to fight and endure a lot more. The media hated on him for 75% of his career.

Me personally I pick ronaldo because in the biggest of games he always turns up and his team for his quality isnât always the best compared to Messi, Messi in big games is always hiding and as a leader me personally as a leader and best player on the pitch u just canât do that. I do believe ronaldo gets a lot of hate bc he talks a lot and backs it up, Messi is good but for stuff heâs done in the ucl I donât admire for example he scored 4 goals at Liverpool and the 2nd leg heâs no where to be seen. To be very honest I donât think itâs fair on ronaldo as most the comebacks and big games heâs ahead by a mile and his mindset is crazy

As all the evidence continuously mounts in the favor of Messi there will always be a few die hard CR7 fanboyz that cannot accept the truth although i think they are mostly from the US and have a certain understanding of football!
People saying Ronaldo done it in different leagues: Messi has as many goals vs the Big 6 in England as Ronaldo has, in just 1/3 of the same amount of games. When Ronaldo came to Juventus, they had won Serie A 9 seasons back to back. Even Worse than ligue 1
