I’ve seen nothing (highlights, stats, opinions of sunderland fans) to suggest he’s worth this. If his last name wasn’t Bellingham I doubt we’re interested, which makes me hope this falls through.

So, I have spent this morning watching videos and reading opinions about Jobe Bellingham. Even though his name adds 5-10 mil. to his price tag, it looks like we really have here a good midfielder here. He has 2 good season in the Championshop (Jude had only one when he joined us). He doesn’t have a rich injury record. From watching videos of him and reading about him, he looks live a very versatile midfielder, he could be great as a CM next to Nmecha in the 3 4 1 2 and he could even be a back-up to the offensive midfielder position. He is very tall, he tackles, he is capable of carrying the ball and escaping tight spaces and he even has the ability to score.

I don’t get why we are so interested in him, because as soon as Chukwuemeka fixes his fitness problems, we can have a proven class player for the future. Yes, he‘ll cost more, but he seems to like BVB, since we gave him the chance to play regular football. Also, I am afraid that Jobe won’t cope with the pressure because of the constant reminders of his older brother’s performances here at our club as soon as he doesn’t perform.
