Politics ruined things and I didn't feel like supporting the team.
2018 was the best world cup campaign for Iran. Everyone was supportive and Iran almost made it out
Pretty suspicious how the US haven’t played in the morning or afternoon. The first time they did was against the Netherlands and they lost 3-1. All the other teams in the group played at least one game in the afternoon apart from the US, so they weren’t as affected by the weather like Wales. Anyways still a crap performance by Iran in the US game, I’m turning into Aftv Ty. Great vid shayan I laughed a lot 😂

I really expected much more competitiveness going into that usa game. Absolutely pathetic. This is what happens when you try to just go for a draw.
I agree. The tactics and mentally for last game was what ruined them.. you don’t go into such a game to get a draw. They didn’t play football at all, all passes went straight to the US players, they had absolutely no idea what they were doing on that field. And as you said, with such strikers you just don’t waste those chances against a team like the US. I also knew they weren’t coming back, Iran is a team which gets frustrated like no other team once they’re behind.
