We would do well to rid the team of average and below average players not pulling their weight. We need to get rid of players not wanting to sign extension to their contracts and holding out for money they haven't earned. No more running down contracts. Sell them for premium bucks and get replacements. We should build on our domestic success next season.

Watched a few Frimpong videos, not many defensive clips. But he wants to join, release clause & age profile is good. Also he's homegrown which could be important if we let Kelleher, Quansah & Elliott go. I'd love Williams to join but Barca chasin Lucho tells me that they've switched away from Nico. Why? Really wants to stay in Bilbao. Also excessive demands. And we'll not comply. Also we've lots of options out left, both Cody & Lucho have to share minutes there. I think frimpong is not the best decision he is more of an attacking Rb which slot does not want, the perfect fit i think personally is Arnau Martinez from Girona, hes a class player when it comes to possession of the ball, and that is Arne's play style. He is also a great defender, i come to a conclusion, this might be the best decision for slot to sign him hes 22 which is yound and he only costs around €10-15 million. I think thats a bargain.

We need a left footed attackers as well. Getting Nico only will overload the left side with Diaz and Gakpo. Because later in the future, we will see the left is better for him. Then we start putting Diaz as 9, which is not his real position

We need a real attacker as Salah not having Frimpong filling in for him. Getting Frimpong should be to play in his right back position and maybe due to tactical ideas get to move ahead to exploit spaces with Salah or another. Not filling in. That is route to failure and unwanted injuries. We need another young, versatile left-footed attacking technician to fill in for Salah. Like the Kubo, Kvaratskhelia just as examoles. If we want more title or compete high always, we need to be ready to make some real moves, not managing moves. We need five players, a 9, a left footed right winger who can also play attacking midfield, a right back, a left back , and a wild defensive midfielder who can also play center back. Complete.

I don’t get what people see in Williams, his output is pretty bad and I genuinely think he’d flop in the prem, I’d stay well clear.

Frimpong is a weapon and smart managers will always find ways to use their weapons. For the fact you mentioned, Frimpong would be a great addition to provide coverage at RB, but more importantly due to his versatility. Oh and he has instant chemistry with Virgil, Gravy, and Gakpo!

A Slot I hope keeps H Elliott at the club, he is one top class quality player who will only get better with time and loves the club with all his heart.
