I agree we need to upgrade 1st team players. But we also need better options from the bench because for a long time now there has been a massive drop off in quality when we bring back up / rotation players on from the bench or when a fist choice player is sidelined That being said , I think a good way of going about that is going for players that can play in a few different positions

We have got enough players who cant run, Soucek oh please no. We lack pace so much its frightening and people want that sloth. We have the makings of a decent midfield but it either needs a injection of pace or 2 fullbacks who can get up and attack with pace.
