  1. Huijsen alongside VVD would give some great passing options. Think Delap could be a good temp option until the 'one' comes along. Kerkez/al nouri at LB, offer proven prem experience. Wharton too expensive this summer sadly (he is quality). Think João Pedro is pretty good but alas Brighton will just place a sky high price on him.. What you guys make of Ayman Kari – young, fast, likes a tackle seems sturdy..

  2. Liverpool will be fascinating in the next two summer windows. I'm a huge fan of Mikautadze and I'm convinced he would be good in the prem, although he does have a wiff of West Ham striking flop.

In the Robertson mould, I see a sneaky move for Victor Kristiansen who has solid defensive numbers this season for Leicester and showed much more passing quality on loan at Bologna last season.

I don't personally see a Salah replacement on the right hand side. I would try and get Mastantuono now while he is 'cheap' and hope he progresses to a high level. I believe that they have to make Salah's goalscoring up elsewhere in the attacking lineup whilst focussing on creativity on the right with the likes of a Cherki or possibly Conceicao.

Loved the right back picks though and they better keep their scouse hands away from Isak.

  3. Annoyingly, as a utd fan, I feel whoever they pick will suitably perform in the team. I wonder if we could get a video on how so many clubs make such dramatic mistakes in transfers, surely every scouting department should be able to function similar?

  4. I’m curious what you think about Liverpool possibly having an issue with having too many non-homegrown players. Losing Trent, Kelleher, possibly Elliot. Will Quansah and Gomez stay? Who knows.

That’s why I wonder if they may try to shoehorn in the likes of Frimpong, and Semenyo who both qualify as homegrown.

I think if they go for someone like Hato who has the physicality to play as a more defensive LB, they can accommodate Frimpong flying up the wing in more of an elbow formation. If I squint I can almost see it. No one really saw Gravenberch as a DM before slot, maybe he can make a RB out of Frimpong with that Dutch magic.

I’m also curious to see if Liverpool go for a more dynamic CF over a Sesko/Gyokeres/Osimhen type. Playing Diaz over Gakpo at CF makes me think Slot wants more of a mobile, elusive, dribbling type over power. Not my favorite move but I could see a Cunha-type being more in line with the profile they go for instead of just the most popular out-and-out strikers on the market.

One last point- surprised there was no mention of Stiller for CM. Without Trent, they could use some creative passing from deep. Stiller I would imagine would be a much cheaper alternative to Wharton.
