Jamie Gittens’ decline under Niko Kovac highlights the tactical shift at Dortmund, where the club’s growing emphasis on structure over individual flair may lead to the young winger’s sale this summer.
Seems like he wants out anyway. Get a decent price and move on – invest it in the squad

He’s clearly a talented player. But I don’t think he has it in him to become a world class player, if we can sell him now we should do it.

I’ll be more mad if we don’t sell him.

because it will be very funny if somebody gives us 50M?

if he really wants to go and his head isn’t in Dortmund anymore, I would argue it would be detrimental to *not* sell him

He told the team that He wanna leave today

Not like we want to keep. Him

The funniest thing about this whole saga is Kovac will probably start him over Adeyemi vs Leverkusen

He is the same player he was two years ago.
I don’t think he has developed or honed his skills. Dortmund apparently isn’t going to be the place for him to do so despite others of similar style being able to develop. So is it a him problem or a team problem.
You can flair and structure. But it requires the player to commit to it and adapt with the team. BvB shouldn’t modify it’s strategy just for one player with occasional flair.

He’s 18. One more year. We need a Adeyemi replacement

He wants out, we want him out, he wants money, we need money. Win-win

We lost nothing. We only can win. A selfish mid Player less

Honestly, I really don’t care.

It’s got nothing to do with individual flair, it’s got to do with the fact that he’s selfish and ineffective.
If he had flair and was effective, he’d been kept in the team.

Reason #1. He sucks.
