I wouldn’t be opposed to keeping Brandt if he gets a notable wage reduction and a lesser role. Like he was the secondary choice after Reus for many seasons. I feel like that’s when you get the best out of him. We can’t rely on him as the main number 10 though.

I don’t care if Brandt scores a hattrick against Leverkusen, he’s not a serious player: he’s way too inconsistent, way too big a liability defensively and way too bad on a bad day.
