I don't think people realize how strong FHF's defense was. Maybe his smashes overshadowed his defense, but I rarely see him lose to a direct smash. And more often than not, opponents prefer to target FHF's partner (Caiyun, Zhang nan) because FHF's high lift defense was too good.
