According to various reports, the amount was €4.5M plus possible bonuses. As a St. Pauli fan, I'm sorry to see him go, and it's good to see how much he appreciates his former club. But after St. Pauli failed to get promoted to the top German league, his departure was pretty much inevitable. He's too good for the German 2nd division. Freiburg is a great club, and has recently established itself in the top rungs of the Bundesliga after a long time of uncertainty. They know what they're doing. I wish Daniel all the best with his new club, and will as usual be supporting Freiburg in their national and international games next season.
Welcome to our wonderful Club Mr. Kofi – Kyereh. Im sure one of the main reasons he choose Freiburg is our Team Manager Christian Streich. Glad to have him in Freiburg ❤️
