  1. As a British guy who has watched MLS for a long time, they have killed the international interest in the all-star game by making it an MLS vs Liga MX game. No one who isn’t Mexican has any interest in Mexican players, teams or league. MLS all-star game used to broadcast internationally when they played European teams, now they don’t broadcast it because people have no interest in seeing MLS play a league where none of the players are known outside Mexico. I get why Liga MX want tHis game because they want what MLS has international interest, but what do MLS have to gain from this? Few more Mexican Americans at the game? Football is bigger than the Mexican community and the constant lazy pandering to this community can do more damage than good like Chivas USA and notice how the best attended MLS teams with the exception of LA FC are all in low Mexican American regions because they making inclusive of all communities including LA F and I am sure Mexican Americans don’t like to be patronised either. Don Gaber might as well be wearing a sombrero, with a taco in one hand and tequila in the other hand. You don’t need to get super Mexican for Mexican Americans to like football
