He’s not only CEO of Borussia Dortmund but has various functions in DFL and DFB. Therefore, he’s also representing the interests of other clubs alongside BVB. Why would he not go to see other clubs in theses roles?

According to Maps, it’s only about an hour by car from one stadium to the other. For VIPs, there will surely be a way to get them onto the highway in no time. Alternatively, I wouldn’t rule out the magic word: helicopter. By road, it’s a bit over 100 km (with quite a detour), but as the crow flies, it’s probably only around 75 km. At 200 km/h? Totally doable.
