  1. What's past is past we dont need him if he came back he would probably tarnish an already damaged reputation for me it's a massive no to him coming back to villa pep has ruined him as a player anyway forget his trophies what exactly were his contributions to man city anyway

  2. Grealish doesn’t get anywhere near the Villa starting 11 imo.
He’ll be 30 later this year and City will most likely want around £30mil-£40mil for a player who has been 💩 and very injury prone the last 2 seasons. Sorry but there are younger and better players we can get for that money 👍 Grealish is washed up and old news.

  3. The money could be spent better elsewhere. He hasn't done anything in years and looks like he's had thr spark coached out of him. Let him go to Newcastle – with Ramsey, Rogers, Malen, Bailey, Asensio, Rashford and McGinn Villa have enough options in the attacking midfield areas. I'd even pick Buendia above Grealish on current form.

  4. I don't have a soft spot for Jack Grealish. I had his time with us and moved on. Well, we've moved on too. I don't see where he would fit in with Emery's plans, which suits me just fine.

  5. I will never forgive him for leaving. I hate the narrative of "he saved us because he brought in ÂŁ100m" that's nothing to do with Jack, Jack has no say in that. Do you think if Man City came in with ÂŁ20m Jack Grealish would stay at Villa? Jack Grealish didn't leave Villa because he was financially doing us a favour, he went and got that move because he wanted to join Manchester City, so that's one part of it that I do have a gripe with. Secondly, there's the whole "My City, My Club, My Home" he kept his mouth shut the whole summer, and if Grealish said in early June 2021 that he wanted to leave, I would've still been upset, but there would've been no ill will. The fact that he kept his mouth shut the whole summer is what angers me, but I do have a right to feel aggreived and bitter, and I think that's not an unfair and harsh thing to say.

  6. Don't want Jack Grealish back at Villa. That ship has sailed. If he really loved Villa, he would have never left. And let's face it, he wouldn't even get in the Villa team.

  7. We’ve moved on from Jack, he had his chance and chose to move on. We’ve also moved on and become one of the best teams in the league. We don’t need anyone coming in making it all about them. Plus we have better players now in his position.

  8. I have a feeling he will end back up at Villa. Just a slight feeling.

If we make champions league I don’t think he will because I think we may go for Rashford.
If we don’t, I can honestly see him coming on loan.

  9. I think he we would do good in unai system on the left he’s good at keeping the ball and forward passing with matseen behind making runs I think it could work 🤷‍♂️I would take him back yea he left to win trophies so what it’s his career at the end of the day and he brought us 100 million what has helped us build to become this team now so yea just my opinion thoe

  10. Loved Grealish when he was at Villa and was gutted for months afterwards, but seeing the team we have now I don’t think he’d fit in this Villa team. Just shows what great business we did

  11. What a player he was seriously, never saw the same player again when he left. He surely must realise he went backwards at city. Can anyone tell me one moment that stands out in the last 5 years? Sold his soul and legacy to win a prem title in a manufactured team.

  12. Still love the bloke. He's worth it just to have him in the dressing room – although we've got a great bunch of characters as it is. I can't see it happening – and I don't think we need him – but I know he'd still do a job for us. Could be another "great off the bench" player.
