Its a ploy by ICC to ensure that stalwart teams go into semi final so that coffers are filled. Bad luck bangladesh. Sakib was not out . Third umpire should be accountable and should prove his decision.

I am from Pakistan, the third umpire was in the best position to give a decision, however if he was in doubt it should have gone batsman's favour. One wicket or a boundary in middle overs has little effect on the result

Clearly it's not out. Also, cannot say there is not sufficient enough evidence to overturn head umpire's decision cos tv footages clearly show the gap between the bottom edge of the bat and the ground when the spikes come up and at this moment the ball is just passing the inside edge. Furthermore, there was a clear deviation after the ball passed the bat. To say this is a stupid decision by the tv umpire you can listen to the conversation during this was reviewed.
Technology is damn useless if the ones those who are using are idiots.
It was crystal clear "NOT OUT"
We Pakistani don't like third umpire decision. It was not out, Shakib should have given not out. We are not like indians who got happy when umpires do bad umpiring in the favour of the indian team. We truly disliked this decision. We are with you Shakib!
The third umpire should be tested for his abilities.
Comparing to last WC, this WC umpiring has been below standard.
I don't think a bat hitting the ground can produce such a heavy spike on the snickometer. Only a woody sound could have produced such a spike. The third umpires should be aware of all basic sound patterns that a snicko senses. Horrible decision… Bad luck Shakib..

The batsman should have been given benefit of doubt. The ball had touched his bat, in the ultra edge it clearly showed. It seems the third umpire had a party with Pakistan officials earlier. Otherwise they would have bombed him!
