      this Irish team look like they are genuinely going somewhere for the future… they are all so young, and look like they are building that cohesion and depth.. its so exciting!! I haven't been this excited for our international team since 2000 & 2001 when we qualified for the world cup in style – putting Netherlands out of the world cup. Good time to get to that stage. This has that exact same feeling. You can see it bubbling. My only hope is that the players understand this… and work HARD. They have the chance to be national HEROES in the coming 3 or 4 years if they do. I know people will have their views on Kenny but its not just about him, this looks like a whole collective movement with individual players looking like they are stepping up and understanding their roles. Love to see it honestly and its so nice to watch Ireland PLAY decent football. That Scotland and then backed up against a really decent Ukraine side (who dismantled Scotland the week before) so we know its not a one off, its now part of something they have and whether we qualify or not I can see us play and beat good teams while putting it up against the best as well. Will be back in the Aviva now after seeing them play like that.
