  1. I like how perk brings up role guys needing to step up but other than what we all here about with the bucks they don’t have anything else😂, Boston is so much deeper and actually young and athletic

  2. these comments are so entitled and think only their player/their team deserves props/awards. why can't people be more objective and stick to the standard? its a long season. records/place will change weekly so analysts have the right to flip flop. performance will change. the mvp award in the past (well at least until the 2000s) has always been the best player on the best team, regardless of stats disparity with the best player not on one of the best teams. regardless if another team is missing one of their better players or if a candidate has better players around him. it was instituted as best player on the best team.

last week, when the bucks got 1st, giannis deserved to be at the top of the mvp charts. today, jt deserves that pick as the celtics took back 1st. sure jokic, kd, mitchell, zion, ja all deserve to be contenders but until they take 1st place they shouldn't be picked. there can only be 1 winner and it "shouldn't" be your favorite player, especially if it's someone like luka who stat pads and doesn't play defense on a losing team. it should be the best player on the best team. sure guys like SGA, haliburton etc are performing well and should be considered for the charts but are they a top 3 team? again best player on the best team. anyone who isn't in a tip 2 team for their conference should be eliminated from discussion, at least temporarily.
