I always thought the Walker deal was stacked against City as it was only an option to buy. He’s out now with a broken bone in his arm. City just need to unload his wages. Reijnders would be great acquisition even if Gundo has to be paid off.

How many midfielders does depend on how many we move on. If we moving KDB, gundo Mcatee, Kova and Bernardo on, the may end up signing 3 although mukasah could be drafted to cover one of those.

Got a lot of respect for Gundo's quality and VITAL goals, but all the players being discussed would be upgrades on him in pace, workrate and aggression. We've let those aspects slide too far in recent years, particularly in midfield. Excited for next season.
