If the ball was not in play it was an assault and if I were Queen of Futbol I would have given Melia a red card, banned him for life from playing or showing up at a game, fined him stiffly, and maybe let Christian give him a good swift kick. I think it's reds for both. The goalie is just trying to get back into a good position to protect the net and the strikers is being a REAL B***H of a player doing what he's doing. None of it happens unless that striker is being a disgusting little worm, but the goalie's response was over the top and poor.

Soccer players want to cry if your foot gets in the way….Roldan put his entire body in the way and shoved Melia. If somebody did that to me at Burger King, I would want to drop him, as well. Nolan Ryan beat a man that charged the mound, when he was pitching. As did Farnsworth. (Go Cubbies!). Reap what you sow. I’m proud of Melia for standing up. A bit overboard, but, heat of the moment.
