Cody is not a wow player. We have enough wingers can we just target a natural center forward a goal scorer
We can go till 60 but anything over that would be overpaying by a lot.
Unpopular opinion: I am not a fan of Gakpo as someone who probably is not Rashford level, plays mainly on the left, and still will probably be overpriced post world cup
It’s significant that he’s 6ft 4ins, 23 years old. He can pass accurately to teammates, good awareness of seeking & finding space. He’s versatile & capable of playing as a striker. A very modern player.

Hi Sam I think we shd defo go for a player like Cody his attitude is great what we need in the dressing room. He can play in a multiple positions in wld be a great squad player. We’re skint but surely going all out for him wld be worth it in worth adding it on to the overdraft that the leaches have. What's United waiting for? Gakpo is a quality player with lots of versatility. He has the potential to be a success like when Thiery Henry was brought in from Juventus as a winger to play as a striker for Arsenal. Wenger really got that right and I believe Ten Hag can transform Gakpo into a lethal world class striker!

Buying another winger into the team is a huge mistake, we already can't find a space for sancho and Garnacho and I don't see ETH benching Rashford or martial for him at the no.9 position
I wonder if a short term loan deal for Jadon Sancho is being discussed with PSV as a condition in a Cody Gakpo sale. Could be mutually beneficial as it might be good to re-build his confidence and he could fill the void temporarily if PSV can't sign a replacement in January?

He is a calm young man.. shown by his strong religious side akin to Kaka. Would git in well with what EtH is trying in terms of personality. Football terms I think only Halaand has more goal involvements than him or vice versa.

Really insightful interview. For me it's Gakpo's attitude which stands out. We know EtH values this as much as the technical ability and output. For that alone, I hope United find a way to make the deal happen.

Coming from a PSV fan: all can see his technique, his goal scoring and his depth. But the best is that he is a leader. When the going gets tough, Gakpo gets going. Amazing grinta. Just one thing, let him finish the season with us, please. =)
