In a very shocking moment, Lionel Messi and his teammates almost fell off the top of their open-top bus after arriving in Argentina to celebrate their World Cup victory over France.
Messi and four teammates, including Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria, are shown on video ducking under an overhanging power cable at the last second as they drive slowly through a sea of happy Argentine supporters.
Fans lined the sidewalks in the middle of the night to catch a sight of the winning Argentina national team as they took an open-top bus through Buenos Aires.

This is the stuff where stupidity of organizers etc show. My main worry throughout tournament was not stupid lgbt stuff but some group like isis etc trying to do terrorist attack to further their notoriety. I understand security inside stadiums must have been top notch but what about victory parade for the World Cup winning team outside the stadium? It is also a given that for the South American teams of Brazil and Argentina they enjoy traditional support spanning generations from countries far far away from them, across Asia and Africa, so for me it was to be expected that in Qatar with 75% population being from Indian subcontinent those two teams would have home type support crowds and a victory parade outside is within realm of possibility. Remember how Imran Khan recently got shot at in Pakistan in similar public rally and Benazir Bhutto was killed. There are plenty of Islamic fundamentalists in that part of world including resident in Qatar that find sport as an abomination and despise the football World Cup being held there. I donβt know what else to say except that I am happy for Argentina and happy they are all back home safe and the whole tournament passed without any terrorist incident.
