  1. Β£100m isn’t crazy in todays market, when you accept the inevitable English tax. He’s a great leader and role model, while being a top player and on the right side of his prime.

If it was Β£70m everyone would say West Ham got ripped off.

  2. For a Β£105 million player, Declan Rice still has to be one of the most underrated players in world football. The only DM better than him is Rodri. People will say gravenburch but you’re an idiot if you think that because he’s been complete pants the previous 2 seasons

  3. I like David Moyes.. and I like
Decklan Rice.. but nobody at West Ham taught him how to shoot from a short way outside the box.. If, as a midfielder, you don't know how to do that minimum.. then you can't be worth even what we paid for him, no matter how professional, no matter how likeable.. even if he was a holding/defensive midfielder before..

  4. Wayne Rooney, and David Beckham at no time cost that kind of money….they guy is worth maybe 75 million max he can't dribble and his passing forward ain't that average midfielder rip off because of the fight that club receives in the primier league. Where in the world do people pay that kind of money for midfielder is he a better player than a fit Rodri from city Arsenal needs to get protection for that club the fight is on.

  5. Moyesy, my old guy. As a West Ham fan, who thanks you tremendously for what you did for us but am happy we've moved on, we know, Rice was incredible. Do think he was a bit young for the captaincy at the time but I was saying to my brother on the phone (Literally no more than 3 hours ago) I think he (Dec) has actually developed as a leader since being at Arsenal. I still think the likes of Antonio, Nobes, Nolan possibly still helped him at West Ham but at Arsenal, following an interview I see with him and the young lad Skelly, I have to say, he's doing what your mentioning (helping support young players). I think he has developed that even more with maturity.
