  1. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank both Sallah and Hazard for giving us the blessing of watching them grace the Premier League.

    Thanks Lads šŸ’™

  2. Hazard had like 3 world class years.. that’s if you’re being generous… salah has been world class every year since he arrived at Liverpool… how is this even a debate

  3. Output doesn't mean there's no debate. Salah's numbers year in and year out are unbelievable.

Hazard was a player who would look to put his stamp on a game – sometimes that was goals, sometimes it was assists, other times it was taking a game by the scruff of its neck and changing the tide. That isn't Salah's game – and just like the lower goal output doesn't make Hazard worse than Salah, Hazard's ability to do things that very few players in history have been able to do also doesn't mean he's better than Salah. They're just simply different.

I'd take Hazard over Salah for one reason. In spite of Salah's more obvious threat from a goal standpoint, Hazard just had an instinct for when he needed to do something special vs when he needed to keep it simple.

  4. Hazard in his prime brings joy, intrigue, and love to the sport. I can’t personally agree with Salah and I’ve watched him since his time at Chelsea. A late bloomer sure, has he had an immense career since? Absolutely. But is he better than Prime Hazard imo, absolutely NOT.

  5. As a footballer, Hazard clears Salah and as a athlete Salah clears Hazard.

Hazard and Salah are similar ages and both were at Chelsea at the same time, no way was Salah ever playing over Hazard in that team.

  6. Im a die hard Liverpool fan, but if we're viewing it as from a footballing it's hazard for me. He literally made me love football, I believe salah had a better career but for me Hazard is a better player. (This is no hate towards salah he's literally one of my favourite footballers)

  7. If Salah’s season finishes the way it’s gone so far, it will be the best individual season in the prem ever. Period. He is on another planet right now.

  8. stats don't just do hazard justice you have to be a ghost for 70 min and score a tap in to be a great player these days.all i'm going to say is by these merits lamps clears all your favourite midfielders

  9. why are people using consistency against hazard like the guy didn't win the league for lille at 18 then going to chelsea in the process becoming the second most successful dribbler of the 20th century racking up 100 motm awards,1siverball at the worldcup 4 time chelsea player of the year,1 epl mvp and no to mention both salah and kdb were sent packing as they were nothing special when you have prime hazard

  10. One off game in a UCL final, most definitely Hazard. Full season, definitely Salah. But also could depend on who they have around them. Hazard can do far and away more with less. Salah rarely, if ever, single-handedly carried his team through wins.

  11. Growing up I wanted to be Hazard but you cannot deny the output that Salah has had in the prem over the last 7-8 seasons. For me Salah is the best right winger in the prem

  12. Football isn’t about numbers but you simply can’t ignore what salah is. Guaranteed goals and assists year in year out. What we’re seeing from salah right now is the best any player has been in the history of the league

  13. Dont even know how its a debate. Its so funny LOL. Hazard was incredible and so fun to watch. But football isnt for fun, its to win and salah’s stats absolutely shit on hazards LOL its not even close. They play the same position too, if hazard was a left back you could make the case but his job was to also provide assists or score. Whats the point being an unplayable winger who has hardly any output on the final score lmao
