Aston Villa booked their place at Wembley with a commanding 3-0 win over Preston North End at Deepdale. After a quiet first half, it was Marcus Rashford who stepped up — scoring his first two goals for the club in quick succession before Jacob Ramsey sealed the deal with a thunderous third.

Rashford’s brace ended a nine-game goal drought since arriving from Manchester United, and his cool penalty and composed finish proved decisive. Jacob Ramsey’s solo run and strike capped off a clinical second-half performance from Unai Emery’s side.

  1. I actually feel sorry for villa fans that think this will amount to anything, wait till his next game an absolute stinker with him walking around the field. Wait and see.

  2. I guess if a player or manager wants to flourish, the solution is to depart from Old Trafford, which is very sad.. But i have come to the full understanding for the longest time that Sir Alex was the difference, he was our culture and glory, not the club of itself, because the glazer's have always been around.. Since Fergie departed, every meaning went with him.. I'm just proud of Rashy.. I've always supported him and always will.. I was in full agreement for him to leave also for his own sake, which he did, and just look at the difference.. He should not return, because whenever the team fails, they use him as a scapegoat..
