      there are some dumb opinions here, of course it is far less worse when a player who comes through the academy when you are at your worst because everyone knows winning something is why anyone is here for and if you cannot afford that then it is easier to accept a player leaving. Liverpool is literally going to need a large number of new players this summer, it doesn't matter if Trent had stayed or not, but what makes it worse is that Liverpool need money for a rebuild and Trent who is in his prime and is probably in the top three at his position going for free, I would find that much more painful to accept and I would blame the player and the ownership.

      Trent is defo not a traitor, but he wont be a legend either. MacAllister who had no prior relations with Brighton, signed a contract extension to ensure they get a fee for him.

      If you have played 5 seasons or more with a club, and you have won trophies with that club (or you have done something significant like prevent the club from getting relegated), then you are objectively a legend of the club.
      Regardless of fan opinions and feelings.

      How much money did Liverpool make with TAA all these years? He owes them nothing. He's gonna do what's best for him and his family. Life changing money. You would do the same thing. Go do great things at Real Madrid just like you did at Liverpool. LFG. By the way the lady is fine as hell. Gawd dam.

      I wish him all the best. The better he does the more stock that puts on English players who are usually seen as less than compared to some European and South American players. Liverpool will move on.

      I see a lot of Liverpool fans bringing up Saliba leaving Arsenal on a free and how the Arsenal fan base would meltdown and attack him as some sort of copium but the situations are completely different. Saliba is not a local lad from Hale End and we feel LUCKY to have a player of his quality at the club. If he leaves on a free in a couple of seasons the anger will be directed at the board for not doing enough to convince him to stay with us by showing the kind of ambition a player of his quality deserves. I guarantee you won't see the cringeworthy antics of Saliba shirts being burnt or accusing him of being a rat. If we haven't won any trophies by 2027 and Saliba decides he wants to move away – who the hell is going to blame him for that?

      Not getting money for a player who’s mod 20’s who’s won everything and not in his prime is not acceptable.
      Wouldn’t mind was not even 6 months ago they all said he’s shite

      if you think its about TAA then you don’t know the club. It’s about the financial loss. I’m not saying this as some kind of hater but he’s a great RM “beckham comparable” but a terrible RB. Because of his prowess it was always a hard balance for Liverpool to work out over the years. But now there are options, really good ones at RB. So him leaving solves a lot of problems he was always going to create for that position but going on a free is brutal 😅 good on him and his agent for winning the chess match. No way Madrid were ever paying top dollar for him. If that was the case they’d go to South America. So on the assumption that Liverpool will win the league, I don’t think it’s necessary to have him be the number 1 RB till the end of season. That would be absurd

      Trent is a snake!! I wish him nothing but the worse at Madrid. I'm hoping Liverpool get Madrid next season so he can see just how hated he'll be. He's not a legend. Madrid are a vile club! Elliott turned down meeting Madrid and Ramos because of what Ramos did to Salah. That's a proper Liverpool fan. Trent is not a true Liverpool fan.

      Then Saka, Foden etc should all go to Madrid or Barca for free so they can give the club that created them nothing!

      If Trent wants Ballon D'or, he will have to score and assist more than Mbappe that he is assisting when the geezer only assisted 4 last year and 6 this year in the EPL…how on earth do you get Ballon D'or with those numbers???
