ESPN couldnt justify their henderson hate, they tried hard they failed. He's only in the squad, will probably not start. You need those players to nurture a fighting spirit. And its not like there were many better options than him who tuchel.ledt out.
Why are these guys acting like they've never been in squads with senior players who mostly just sit on the bench.

Henderson is washed up and that is something everyone has seen. It makes no sense to bring him in when England these days have so many strong and promising players. Fjørtoft for some reason defends Tuchel at every turn. Craig was right when he said a couple of years ago that Jan is in the pocket of Thomas Thuchel.

Tuchel is spot on. I don't understand how the panel isn't agreeing with Jan. There's no argument that this is long term but all successful teams need a Henderson like character. On top of that Henderson is a serial winner, a strong personality, and a strong leader. Keep in mind that this squad hasn't won anything. Tuchel needs to impart that winning mentality and toughness in the young side. I suspect it's also about challenging some of the other stronger personalities to step up.
