Madrid were not going to let Pulisic invert like last year. With Azpi, Pulisic had to drop 10-15 yards into midfield. They doubled him inside-outside. He had nowhere to turn. Jorgy and Azpi gave him no help. The right hand side had more room,. Reece James makes a huge difference… this team really misses Chilly….
Next season we could have all 3 keepers not playing….. ugh

Is is just me or does it seem like some of the players don't like Pulisic. Because he's an American they aren't friends with him. I'm not saying you need to be BFFs, but at least pretend you like each other. Team friendships can go a long way for a team's chemistry and togetherness. Look at Bayern and Real Madrid, they seem to like each other and click, not Chelsea. It's like Real Madrid was playing against two infighting teams or something.

Does the Horvath situation impact some of your critisisms of GGG players selections concerning European and MLS based players who he is not intending to play unless emergency? While FIFA requires releasing players it doesn't mean that coaches won't punish players for accepting call ups. Horvath has unmistakably lost his position for going to the US for the last window. The two specific players you continue to harp on in similar situations are Brooks and Scally.
I think Pulisic should also find another team. Maybe after Qatar. At Chelsea, he is a sub and the team looks better without him. Saludos Fil

NGL the picture is pretty bleak atm. Hardly anybody playing meaningful minutes. Devastating Injuries to a lot of our best talent is killing us. Really hope things start looking up after nations league where we might be missing quite a few players.
