2 biggest surprises that the Gooners have waited for years.
Artetas worst trait is that he's stubborn in the way he wants to play even when his first choice players are hurt. What you cannot take away from him is he has more than an idea of what he wants to do and it has merit. He's building HIS team from the back. Ramsdale is a sure keeper with reflexes, kick accuracy and a ton of balls. Having 3 CBs, one of whom can play RB, makes us way tougher in the air and physically. Then Tierney and Tavares are interchangeable as quick, ball carrying, athletic left backs. It's gonna be interesting to see what he does with the attack because it isn't put together in his idea yet.
I don’t think many Arsenal fans were mad about Ramsdale coming but more about his price tag. Arsenal aren’t known to be the biggest spenders so a lot of fans thought that Ben white + Ramsdale would take up all of the funds.
In other words you guys hadn't really done any scouting or research on him as I know several people (not football scouts) who said that Ramsdale was exactly what Arsenal needed. However, fair play on admitting you got this hopelessly wrong

If anything as well, it's hard to really blame the Bournemouth and Sheffield United relegations on Ramsdale. I always thought he was an underrated keeper but had the bad luck of playing on relegated teams in back-to-back seasons. It's been nice to see him thrive.

Man for the past two years I've often said Ramsdale had potential, but I got absolutely rinsed beyond belief for it in the comments of Sheffield United highlights last season when they went down. I'm very rarely right with football predictions but that may be the one I'm right with

1 important thing you missed, Ramsdale is actual Arsenal fan and you can tell! He’s passionate and shows fight, theres a big difference when a player is actually playing for the badge and the fans, theyre more likely to play to their full potential which is what we’re seeing with this Beast!
