  1. Gab hit the nail on the head. Many people, pundits included, simply look at the number of goals scored and nothing else. Are there better strikers out there? Probably. Do they bring all of the other things with them like winning aerial duels, pressing, setup plays, etc.? Arsenal are winning as a team. I know, that's a strange concept for some of these pundits but a team effort requires everyone to do their part. The players fit the structure that creates the team chemistry that is often more capable of winning than a group of talented stars bunched together. But in order to maintain that winning chemistry, you need players that can fill-in when injuries occur or when the schedule is excessive and rotation becomes important. You have to maintain the quality level of the team as a whole. That is what cost them points when, for example, Ødegaard was injured. Does Watkins fit the team or is it a case of people just saying it because he scores goals? Arsenal have already scored lots of goals again this season, as a team. 5 different goal scorers last night. Arteta has to be careful not to mess with the team chemistry too much.

  2. I am half German so I have nothing against havertz but let’s be honest he is not enough for arsenal to win a title. And Gab can defend him as much as he like but in the end results speak for themselves which are that havertz and arsenal have fallen short multiple years in a row. The fact that they battered city won’t win them the league either if they draw with mid table teams.

  3. LAY OFF HAVERTZ FOR A BIT. OK he missed a chance he should have scored but also scored a very nice one and assisted for the opener. That said his general play was great, moving City players out the way to give his team mates more space with great intelligence.

  4. Arsenal should not dislike city coz arsenal is not on city level generally coz their trophy cabinet is empty… But they compare them with city so people think they are on same level

  5. Pep never sacked coz media always loves him ..look how media treat other manager and then him , in this tuff season media blaming rodri injury rather den pep and pep signed striker nd defender but media don't utter word against pep same for arteta spending merchant but nobody asking about trophies

  6. Imagine Arsenal get Mbeumo to be the leading striker and leave out that Chelsea flop and reject, arsenal would still be in both Fa Cup and Carabao, but since Arteta is the boss, Arsenal can never win a trophy

  7. Havertz isnt a stricker yet has to perform there?Partey isnt a right back yet has to perform there since he has defendsive qualities?Players play well oftenly according to the roles they are given

  8. Defo not a No 9 or a false nine that’s the issue. The money spent on him for this position has to raise questions along with Trossards fee!. Everyone makes mistakes but it shows bad judgement in my opinion.
