  1. I think it’s a bit more simple than that
    1. Play Raphina as a LW along with Balde and they can create a great partnership which will allow Raphina to drift inside more

    2. When everyone is healthy (Araujo, Kounde) switch to a back 3 with Dr Jong playing as a CDM or double pivot as he did in Ajax since he’s also comfortable dropping in as a Pseudo CB.

Ideally the line up would look like this
    _____________Ter Stegen
    Alba/Roberto____Kounde___Araujo___Balde
    ___________De Jong________
    ____Pedri_____________Gavi
    Dembele ____Lewa____Raphina

  2. On PES, I played Raphinha as No.10 or at a similar role like Bernardo Silva but yeah his end product & takeons are certainly disappointing

  3. Raphinha problem will be solved when Xavi stops favouring trash Spanish players and being less rigid with tactics.
Xavi is not ready to coach barca yet.

  4. I still believe Dest is a good option. He is awful with someone who lacks inteligence and clarity like Dembele, but with someone like Raphina, he would be a monster. Similar to Tierney & Martinelli on left wing.

  5. so a 3-4-3 with a midfield of (left to right) pedri, frenkie, busquets, raphinha could work with 3 proper defenders like balde, araujo and christensen at the back?

  6. He's a right Wing Back. Just think Cafu or Dani Alves, Maicon or the legendary Carlos Alberto. They have the legs to cover the wings entirely. The only thing is you'll need 3 center backs to deploy 2 wing backs in a 3-5-2 formation.

  7. I agree we need a top class attacking RB in order to give our RW the option to play closer to the box. But considering that we were looking for a different kind of player in the last transfer window (Azpilicueta, Foyth) I think that we will not persue this kind of player in the next couple of transfer windows. I think Xavi wants the wingers to play wide.

  8. Hey Purist, I wanted to give you some valuable info related to your video titles. I do writing work as a YouTube content creator and my client (the guy who's an SEO/growth expert) tells me to never make a title all caps. If you look this up there are some articles explaining how the algorithm will recommend these all-capital titles less…Might be useful to keep in mind.

I notice you usually only capitalize one word… I'm not sure if this still has a negative effect– I could ask my client if you want.

  9. Hey dude big fan of your videos, really liked this one, I personally recommend, if you have the time and energy, doing videos about other teams and the respective tactics and players. Love ur stuff dude! <3

  10. A right back who can compliment Raphinha well would be Arnold but his defensive weakness will cost us. Tomiyasu is not that good when overlapping he is good at inverting.

  11. wooow. I love the chart of the most progressive players in Europe. See how 'isolated' Messi is in the chart. Even tho it is French League but still amazing.

  12. I don't think Raphinha is being neither used wrongly nor underused. You mention the big issue at the end; the right back! Since Alves' (first) departure from the club, that has been the biggest issue. The perfect player would be Hakimi, but realistically Vanderson would be a player worth spending money on. He would definitely be able to link up properly with Rapinha!
