  1. People calling for a lifetime ban…

If Saka was guilty, would you call for a lifetime ban?

If Haaland was guilty would you call for a lifetime ban?

If Mainoo was guilty would you call for a lifetime ban?

If Bellingham was guilty would you call for a lifetime ban?

    I could go on.

    In short… no you wouldn't.

Fifa is bent. Coote wad corrupt. City is walking away from the ffp charges…

Yet Paqueta is warranting a lifetime ban?

    Absolute joke.

Players have had LESS for drug test failures and assault chsrges.

  2. SO WE GOT AWAY WITH THE TEVES SAGA BUT BECAUSE OF PAQUETA WE COULD GET RELEGATED AND GET PASSED BY SHEFFIELD UNITED ON THE WAY DOWN…. REAP WHAT U SOW????

  3. alot of IFS, man city are cheating for years so are chelsea, but the FA cant do anything about it,If guilty which i doubt, we all know Football is definitely corrupt, and the premier and the refs are cheating every week, i say let wait and see what the outcome will be, we all know this investigation is about the integrity of football, and i hope he will be backed by west ham and the owners.

  4. Let's put this out there if he played for a big six club the FA would be not be pushing for a Lifetime ban let's see what happens with the 117 charges against man city

  5. guy goes from man citys prime target and main midfielder they wanted in their spine for a few yrs to being banned for life within 18/24 months lol

  6. So it’s bad when gambling companies get ripped off but when it’s the other way around? Hmmm

    Konate last night 😂

  7. If Paqueta is found guilty, then he should face a ban that is severe to deter others. Simon is right, if a premier league player is taking to the field and intentionally getting himself booked for betting purposes, then that does bring the integrity of the game in to question

  8. The hypocrisy by sports all over the world is disgraceful.

Everyone bet. Bet bet bet bet…….oh not you……that would be unethical. Get phooked

  9. The integrity of this game went out the window when BSKYB launched, bought 10% of Man U's shares, pushed for the launch of the Premier League, obtained the TV rights of it around the World and has promoted Man U (every FA Cup game being televised around the world for years) and influenced referees, commentators and league officials ever since… The game is bent and this is just another example of it. I remember Frank Lampard Jr booting a kickoff straight out for a Man U goal kick at Old Trafford with loads of other West Ham players and his Uncle Redknapp who was his manager standing laughing at it all… it turns out the bookies paid out on large bets that the Hammers would attack and force a goal kick in the first minute… The game is bent

  10. This is a civil case so FA dont need to have absolut proof of anything. This will go on for many months. I think talk sports staff should check the facts. there is a trial in Brazil where Paguetta is not charged. If he is guilty, it is clearly bad. The claim that west ham would drop points is just silly. The team has nothing to do with this.

  11. Watch the videos of the four bookings. It really looks as if he's trying to get booked, especially the pointless deliberate handball.
Then ask yourself if it's a coincidence that his friends and relatives in Brazil were placing bets on him getting booked.
He's going to need good lawyers.

  12. If betting on yourself to be booked is "cheating the game" and therefore worthy of life ban, then what about players who deliberately get booked in order to serve their suspensions in matches that don't matter?

  13. What talk shite have failed to mention is that where these bets have taken place in Brazil, that the Brazilian FA isn't prosecuting Paqueta due to no evidence of involvement and only prosecuting the people who placed and profited from theses bets. The FA are the ones that kept postponing these betting cases and it was Paqueta legal team told FA you either charge him or drop the case.

  14. Swan Lane Kay and a host of others banned for life in the 1960s…….BRING BACK LIFETIME BANS Toney Toffolo Tonali…….dont forgive them BAN THEM……or if you really want to be nice let them play non league football or no higher than level 3 football …lets see how much they love the game then

  15. Betting sponsors have nothing to do with this. If he is guilty, a lifetime ban is a must. This is match fixing. The worst offence you could do in professional sport.

  16. Tonali was dealt with almost immediately after he arrived at Newcastle. Almost as if they were biding their time. Paqueta should been dealt with way quicker than this.
