  1. BBC because NYT is paywall sadly.

That being said heat doesn’t really matter since AC will be a thing and it’s not like the players haven’t played in hot conditions. Just get used to the heat by drinking water and you should be ok.

  2. Actual-Carpenter-90 on

In many places in the USA, in the summer, you can physically touch and hold the humidity in your hands.

  3. Everyone coming to the Northeast USA cities might be surprised at how hot and humid it can get. Especially the NYC subway. Not all subway lines have working AC and some of the stations get dangerously hot in the summer.

  4. Well, almost all of the places where summer is rough, rough, have a dome (except Miami and Monterey) so it should be fine the fan areas in DFW, Houston, Monterrey, etc. Are going to be ROUGH though

  5. you guys are gonna be fine just don’t forget your sunscreen and have some water with you

  6. Non Americans, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and use sun protection. If you need to dress like Americans do and make sure if you feel sick you get out of the heat and sun ASAP

  7. Good thing is that several of the stadiums are domed or have significant canopies: Atlanta, Dallas, Vancouver, Houston, Los Angeles, Guadalajara, Miami, Toronto

  8. The way things are going here in US I don’t think heat will be that much of a concern.

  9. 1970, 1986 and 1994 all went just fine. 1982 in Spain was a furnace in some venues. The Japan/Korea (2002) summer is brutal. Brazil 2014 had some rough ones too. All were good. Is everyone here without a memory or under the age of 15?
