  1. Cover it up all you can, but the only reason FDJ never left is FDJ himself. Barca should be thoroughly embarrassed with their conduct of actively hounding out players this past summer, instead of being proud of their "economic levers" i.e. selling out their future

  2. This was such a puff piece for barca, interviewer didn't even touch on the fact he wanted to cut the pay of most of Barcelona's star players and was readily selling players due to liquidation issues.

  3. Very Political answer, meaning he said nothing. He never answered the question as to Why Frenkie didn't leave Barca this summer. What he did was state how transfers generally work. It takes three to agree and sometimes it's one or two or all three that don't agree. That's not an answer that's an explanation of a process. De Jong didn't leave Barca because he didn't want to leave ,that's a fact. He said it many times. One question that wasn't asked was…. if, as Cruyff states, it takes three to agree, why did Barca agree to sell the player. The whole thing didn't pass the smell test. Barca agree to sell the player with another club, when that didn't happen they insisted the player had to take a pay cut if he was to stay. The player then insisted he was not going to take any cut in pay. Now everyone seems happy. Another question I would like to know is this…..is DeJong getting his full salary this year or did he take a pay cut as Barca stated he had to do.
