  1. Its hella hard to sit your ass down when you are injured and the doc says – after 6 months you can touch a football again. When you are a kid 17-18, you believe recovery can go faster. But it aint so, learned it the hard way.

  2. Yet Messi did it? Yโ€™all know why?

Because he took steroids as a teenager and had doctors pre scribing him so many drugs, so he can compete at the highest level.

  3. The medical professionals working with him are to blame. None of them are in their teens, but they should have known he as a teenager was over zealous and should have painted to him a clear picture of what the repercussions of over exerting his body would be.

  4. Not only the player, but also the club can be at fault here. Let's think about it. It is in the interest of the club that the player returns as soon as possible. So they speed up the process. Which doesn't always go well. And if the player has an injury that nearly destroys his career, the club will throw him away like a shitty rag. Good thing this isn't always the case.

  5. And you are blaming a kid for that…. Team's health services should supervise and guide the kid during rehab. Doctor's statement wasn't directed at Ansu but to the team staff which tried to force the return to field after surgery instead of care about the kid career.
