Derby paid Β£8m for Krystian Bielik so far more than we paid for Cosgrove and Cosgrove has not been able to perform at this level but Krystian Bielik has. So its 100% not a like for like swap here. I can't see Derby recalling him as if they do see value in selling him then having him play in a higher league is a good shop front to increase his value. Do i think he's worth Β£8m? no probably not. I think Derby overpaid for him but i do think he's worth more than Cosgrove. Also depends if Derby thinks they can get promotion this season or not. If they feel they can get promoted then why sell one of your better players to bring in a striker who's been unable to break through in the Championship? I'd like this to happen but it just doesn't feel like it adds up. Perhaps if we threw in Leko too or some other fringe player and a tin of biscuits too. There is a chance of course that they see something in Cosgrove and might think they can rekindle his form from his days in Scotland. Who knows. My main fear this window is losing either/both George Hall and Jobe Bellingham.
Nope, if I was the derby manager Iβd recall him 100%, after him performing in the World Cup,and the championship he would generate 5mil for them easily, no chance we will sign him
To be honest with you mate, I can't see anything major happening. Really. Think about it, we are financially struggling. If we were ever to make some transfers in January including the one with b lick and Cosgrove, then we need owners. Keep right on
