Since Tottenham’s disastrous defeat in the Premier League the news has been confirmed by David Ornstein, Fabrizio Romano, Alasdair Gold and Matt Law that Ange Postecogolou will not be sacked by Spurs.
But who is to blame at Spurs and why has it come to this and that answer is simple – ENIC/ Joe Lewis and also Daniel Levy.
Tottenham Hotspur have not been quite as active in the transfer window this summer – only signing Archie Gray from Leeds United and Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC, Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth and Wilson Odobert from Burnley and Antonin Kinsky (Antonín Kinský) from Slavia Prague – but over the last few years under Ange Postecoglou Spurs have been building a top youth side.

A better manager would be doing better with this squad of players. So I don’t agree with pinning everything on Levy and kissing the ground that Ange walks on.
Lewis is the problem. Levy the second problem.
Would be nice if they would sign Ange some players who are premier league ready and dont require development. Yang out on loan, great for him but how about getting someone so Son can have a rest. Or Kulu.
Ange Postecoglou and the other coaches who were here after him are 100% capable of making this team win a g*dd@mn trophy, but it’s just Levy won’t bring them some back up…we literally had the same players from the past 5 years or so.
Sonny, Ange is still in his Job – maybe he sees the problem and is trying to change. Solanke didnt come in to the final day of the transfer. Levy has to change and I believe is trying to. The injured, the banners and the protests might have got thru, the negative press, may have striked a chord.
