Ibrahima Konate was speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s match against Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Frenchman admitted he has received a contract offer from Liverpool and is playing through pain at the moment.

The owners are ruining the club. Extending the contracts of our three key players, or at least two of them, would go a long way in convincing others to commit their future. It would show that the owners are serious about competing at the top and staying there. But with no new signings and no updates on contract extensions for Mo, VVD, and Trent, it’s hard to see that commitment.
