Goretzka it is playing fantastic. But I agree with the board. He’s not getting any younger and if he plays better even better for Bayern his price will go up. We need to bring in new young players in. Bischof coming in means that he will be his replacement for years to come. If Goretzka stays then that means that Bischoff wouldn’t play much since we would have 5 midfielders plus Laimer which I think he will also play there since Stanisic n Boey coming back from injuries.
I am not surprised, Goretzka didnt do his job vs Wolfsburg, we conceded 2 goals… it doesnt matter that he scored 2 goals since his job wasnt offence but defence. Goretzka fall out of the first team because our defence sucked last season. Bayern had to buy Palhinha because of that and Goretzka did not learn anything from it, he identifies as an offensive midfield player and u wont be able to change that at his age anymore.
U cant use him as a defensive midifielder and as an offensive midifielder Bayern has no spot for him.
It’s basically confirmed that Tom Bischof is coming to Bayern, this and that Pavlovic will at some point regain his place in the starting XI Goretzka’s time is up
Team and its consistent performance is more important than other considerations. Players will come and go, but the brand of Bayern must go on and on.
