Newcastle fan here. Got to say Bournemouth are the best side to have played at sjp this season. Absolutely superb performance and win for you. Semenyo is some player. You've got some really good lads in your side and I wish you well for the rest of the season.
Should never be losing to a team like Bournemouth. They are a team that shouldn’t even be in the premier league ffs, they are a league 1 team that’s riding their luck being in this league and we turned up expecting to wipe the floor with them (which we should, they have bang average players) — look, I understand they are known as the victims of the league, anyone can go to them and take their players and there’s nothing they can do about it etc and I understand no team fighting for Europe should be getting beat from a team with 11K seats at their stadium but all of our players had an off day massively.
Bournemouth use these games as their cup final and I totally understand that but bring back the days where we had proper teams in the PL like Sheffield United and Leeds and Pompey, now we have the dross like Bournemouth ffs. It’s fkn embarrassing getting beat of teams like this. Hopefully when these financial rule changes come into place we will finally flush out the dross in the league like B’mouth etc
Semenyo is a powerful man. He can do very well going forward.
