Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka has reunited with his first-ever grassroots football coach, Colin Nixon, to celebrate the amazing impact coaches can have on individuals and their local communities.
Nixon identified Saka’s talent at the age of six and allowed him to play at his local west London club, Greenford Celtic. Years later, Saka and Nixon took a trip down memory lane.
The reunion comes after Chase and the Home Nations Football Associations teamed up to create the Chase football coaching programme β which provides fully funded access to 2,900 introductory coaching qualifications and 85 professional coaching bursaries to support individuals where cost is a barrier across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

This guy's talent deserves trophies, man. The big ones.
Give him a 10 year deal and a statue

love this
What a beautiful wonderful video. This is what it's all about, without the grassroots we wouldn't have any of the stars of the past, present, or future. A tree is only as mighty as its roots. Thank you, Hayters for your grassroots media, and independent perspective.

This guy Saka was well brought up. His parents raised a good lad. Happy for him, really. No arrogance, pride or haughtiness.

I played for greenford Celtic, few years before Saka of course
Up the Greenford
Arteta should help the squad ease the speed at which Bukayo is awarded the Balondor. He deserves it come someday if he wins some trophies
