  1. this comment section is pure cope. the mistakes he is making are obviously the result of nerves and pressure. no player is “too good” to the point of hurting the team’s performance. you can recognize and applaud his recent form while still acknowledging he underperformed at Bayern and Swansea

  2. Was at this game sat in the shed upper, clocked a few minutes in that he was having an absolute mare and kept an eye on him the rest of the half. Could not believe what I was seeing, when he passed it to the boards everyone in our section was in hysterics. He may have been in a bad team but fuck me he was absolutely terrible.

Easily the worst performance by an individual I’ve ever seen in person, thankfully he seems to have really turned his career around. Good for him.

  3. Renato sanches has football intelligence of a level that none of these Swansea player can understand or keep up with. Many of these ‘wrong’ passes you see Renato anticipating the reaction of the nearest defender to the receiver of the ball . While the receiver stands still , doesn’t imagine in a millions years what Renato might be trying to do. That’s why they are Swansea. It’s clear for any person who knows anything about football that Renato is always a step or two ahead of his teammates. Both in vision and creativity. It’s flagrant. You see Renato turn in his teammates direction , picks up a little pace literally begging his teammate out on the left for the one two . But he knows the defender close to the receiver will step in to intercept so it’s only normal to play the ball slightly behind your teammate so he can pull the defending line a little bit forward, the put the ball through or over the defence. The winger doesn’t even take one step back and his body posture showed he had no idea what was going on. Renato Sanches is too big for Swansea

  4. Guys, girls, and NBs. Watch his masterclass vs milan in nov 2020. At 40secs in, he turns a defender and EVERYONE that saw, ran as fast as they could into attacking positions. He really was on a different level than Swansea. Not at bayern's standard but definitely on the way there.

  5. There's not blaming the rest of the team. They'd find him. He couldn't find them. This team was definitely devoid of any confidence, but nobody is convincing me his performance wasn't the worst out of the lot. Great player. Just not in this period of his career.
