De Jong will start when Flick feels he is now 100% and can be able to play the full 90 minutes. The idea of thinking he will be on the bench for long you can forget it, you can tell flick values him and sees him as one of the key players in the midfield however, he still wants to make sure that he is not rushed and that he is fully fit considering the injuries that he has had lately.
frenkie would work well w gavi/casado same w pedri but you can't have pedri and de jong together

I genuinely think we over hype GAVI.
Gavi is the player we need to sell and cash out on.
We have placed so much sentiment on this guy and I think we should let it go. We tried to force the gavi x pedri x de Jong midfield for so long and we saw how it didn’t work… its simply because of Gavi… And thats because he is so focused on getting unnecessary yellow or red cards. When it comes to ball playing he ain’t as tidy as Casado. + he obviously can’t evade press and pass the ball well. All we get from him is unnecessary tackles . E.g (the card he got when we were leading 4-0 in Madrid )
He has no reason to do what he did. We hail the passion for the game and it distract us from the real shit… that boy is average at best… I know yall gon talk about the golden boy shit… but he is a Barca player so what do you expect ?
Using Gavi on the left wing is like fielding 10 players cos he is basically not creative in any shape or form. I can’t stress this enough… that boy is not what we think he is.
The earlier we learn the better. Cos we have held on to players like this and we end up regretting them.
