Five goals, three goal-scorers in Casemiro (2), Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes (2) and name in the hat for the quarter-finals, all on Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first game in charge as Interim Head Coach.

  1. I wouldn't agree that the players downed tools for Ten Hag. Look at the sheer number of chances created against Palace, Porto, Southampton, Brentford, Fener and West Ham. It's just that our finishing has been spectacularly bad. Even Ruud said it after the match that we were lucky today.

Ten Hag was extremely rigid, made wrong team selections, ignored his tactical mistakes and in the end he sacked himself. Of course, the players have a share in his fall but it was not like Jose or Ralf.

  2. Hhmm football at first playing may be fun you know. But and than so really tire…and than can be fun again? i think is not. You like give all to football, but, what you take?? i more think about live problem than think about football. Sorry sorry
