So desperate for a proven centre forward who scores plenty of goals.
I have been saying for months this forward line isn't capable of scoring goals, everyone told me I was being negative. Funny how I'm so right. You cannot sign forwards like we are and expect to win the league. It's just not possible. Especially when our current wingers are shocking. The priority this season should have been world class wide players.
I saw a selfish side, better options but they failed to pass, even Rasmus kept the ball, created half a step and scuffed his shot.
Casemiro cannot play two matches a week. This weekend is more important than EL away.
I don't understand how the offensive side of the ball has just disappeared. All last season we were talking about how desperately we needed to improve the defensive numbers, and largely we've done an exceptional job in that regard as shots are down to reasonable levels, but my god we have no aggression going forward. The only time we look dangerous is when the wingers pick up the ball 45 yards out and run at the fullbacks (who by the way are figuring out, literally stand straight up and garnacho will run into you). Even then it's 1 and done with no recycle or danger coming from anywhere else.
Amad isnt good enough
Goodbye EtH. Smacks of desperation, can’t get the best out of existing attackers. Can’t keep clean sheets. Can’t win against good opponents.

I was thinking about the Mazraoui 10 situation last night. I think ETH was trying to out mastermind Jose. Jose knows United better than most managers, so he went for a random as fuck (unpredictable line up to start) to throw Jose off the scent…
Then in the second half, as soon as Jose (showed his hand) and made subs to counteract what we were doing, ETH then reverted to business as usual with the set up and regained more control. Just did fuck all with it. I was pissed off at the game, was there for the taking, again. These draws show a lack of desire from the players
Dude coulda played Eriksen, amad, or even zirkzee in the 10, instead he put in a defender, mate this guy ain’t the guy for us, I want him to succeed too but I don’t believe in him anymore, why would he bring Antony on? This is our manager? Really? I’m Sick of it, this guy isn’t getting the best out of our players, that’s fact not opinion

I feel like he is so obsessed with pressure from the front that the 10 role first and foremost is there to press. Also, maybe 10 runs past striker coming short for the ball. But all very confusing. Why not play Erikkson and Hojlund, who play together for Denmark and have an understanding together 🤦🏽♂️ I smell the end for ETH
I don't see all the fuss with Maz playing as a 10. It worked OK in the first. He was probably there seeing as it was a tough away game and he could lead the press. So bored of reading some of these comments, the fan base has lost the plot
I'm not sure the amad issue is as big as what people are saying. I think both players will get equal game time over the course of the season.
And one more thing… in my opinion, the signing of Antony has been the worse signing of all time. Destabilised the club, wages out of sync, his attitude stinks along with his entitlement, Ten Hag has a blind spot for him… he’s going to get Ten Hag sacked and I really just want him gone out of the club (Antony, not Ten Hag lol)

amad levels above antony, eriksen is a fkn 10 but if he plays him or zirkzee in that position he would be pandering to what we have all been screaming for and ten ball bag knows better cause apparently hes on the same level as morinho. The guy clearly didnt want to play an actual player that can play a ten because it would prove that bruno doesnt fkn need to be picked week in week out .
In fairness, I we were playing in two legged ties instead of this group, we'd probably be ok with two draws in difficult spots with away goals. The new format (and getting rid of away goals too) makes everything look worse.
I totally agree that we don't have the goals we need in this side, and heaven only knows what Amad has done to come on after Anthony…
I know our record in Europe across 2 seasons is bad, but let's focus on this one instead. The result against Twente was poor, and the chaotic performance against Porto was… interesting. Yet while we're in 21st in this new format, is it really that bad? I'll judge on the upcoming games.

I think even Ruud is frustrated by some of the decisions ETH is making as far as tactical setup, subs and player instructions. We are vastly underperforming the sum of our parts at the moment. This team needs to start ticking or else. Ten Hag is on borrowed time here and the pressure is mounting. Berrada, Ashworth and Wilcox have some tough decisions ahead. Ten Hag needs to start winning or I fear he’ll be axed before Christmas.
Even mourinho understand mazraoui at the 10 because of his pressing. We needed someone to press like bruno. Eriksen is too old. Zirkzee had a stinker.
We rotated the squad thats it. Bruno and hojlund are really good at pressing which is why we generally dominate shots and possession in their half. Casemiro in the midfield means we got duel winners and means we still have a back five. We can switch comfortably from 3-2-5 to 3-1-6. Its disgusting we still don't have a left back!

I think Eric has until Christmas with the squad. If we’re still playing like this and fluttering about by then I think he’s gone next year. I can’t defend the man any more. One step forward and two steps back does not mean we’re progressing. Everyone can see it. He’s had 3 years in there now.
Amad is not as good as you think he is. He should have come on instead of Antony, all things being equal, but he isn’t going to set the world on fire, because he hasn’t. As always, the answers are not on the bench, they are not in the reserves, they are outside the club.
ETH tried to be creative with Maz in 10 – without knowing how to be creative in general.

Amad is cute, but he's not that big or important or game changing to speak this many words about. Wanna stay for the show? Good. Wanna leave? Great. This term is being built from back to front. Wingers, strikes and goals will be sorted last.
The team selection was clearly bizarre, but it seems to me that it really doesn't matter too much what line-up we put out, there is just no intensity or ambition in this squad at all. We don't play to the strengths of the English game either in the league or in Europe. Rather, we play at walking pace with our only hope of scoring being if one of our wingers can stay onside and latch onto a ball over the top or along the channel. This is not entertainment. United games nowadays are snoozefests more than excitement. It is sad what we have become.

Anthony was strategically brought on to fake an injury to take the pressure of the manager for signing him.
I am not interested in learning anything about United. WE NEED INEOS TO LEARN THAT ETH IS NOT GONNA CHANGE ANYTHING AT THIS CLUB. ETH DID NOT LEARN ANYTHING FROM ALMOST 3 YEARS.
Rashford has shown that he is capable of being a 20 goals a season player, now he needs to develop the consistency to do that every season. I have seen signs that he might do that this season, he just needs a bit of confidence. I think both Hojlund and Garnacho can become consistent 20 goals a season players, but they don't look like becoming that this season, and that is concerning. I think we can probably get 15 goals from Ericson this season, and the same from Bruno if he can regain some consistency. For Antony to get 10 goals would require about 200 shots, so I can't understand why he is favoured over Amad – unless they are trying to increase his sale price for January.
MAZRAOUI at 10 wasn't good and was not bad. but must play in his place.
