This racist coach won't do such a thing if the player goes to american league. Lots of stars are playing in the SPL and still playing in their NT. Plus, the SPL is now has worldly ranked up to be in the 6th. It's not an easy league like what many brainwashed people think.
I would have been fine with this decision if he didn't call up Wijnaldum for every international break last year. It just shows how much of a hypocrite Koeman is really. He tried to justify it by saying Wijnaldum was older when he went there, but imo it shows a lack of sporting ambitions from both of them. Not particularly suprising from a coach who is known to be a terrible man manager, but disappointing nonetheless
To be fair Eredivisie is pretty low standard aswell but saudi is alot worse so totally agree with koeman. So many big stars that went to shit countries to get their career destroyed. Oscar is probably the biggest example.
Kante moved to Saudi and wasn’t good but in the euros he was World Class. Berg could do the same but honestly he never really provides for his nation anyways, koeman was prob just looking for a reason to get him off the team 😂

Just like any other professional player who has chosen to play in the SPL, they have not been dropped from representing their national teams. For instance, N'Golo Kanté is still playing for the French national team. Aleksandar Mitrović, Sergej Milinković-Savić, and Predrag Rajković continue to represent Serbia. Riyad Mahrez and Houssem Aouar are actively playing for the Algerian national team. The list is extensive. However, when it comes to the Netherlands, they seem to believe their national team is too classy and superior to include a player who plays in Saudi Arabia—quite amusing, really.
How is this still considered a fair argument after players like Laporte & Kante performing greatly at the euros while playing in Saudi!
