Looks like we sold him at the right time when you look at his injury record since leaving, I'd wish him luck but he plays for Man U so I hope no luck for him
I'm a Chelsea sth and I never rated Mount particularly highly. The obsession many fans had with him never struck me as rational and I always thought he went awol for large parts of games more often than not.
Differentiate.. between a " good player.. which by the way.. is every player in premier league..( good ain't enough,) and an outstanding player you need, to win anything
He is failing bro. @ the moment is has gone from grace to grass. When anyone makes a poor decision for his own career – for me it’s a failure so far.
Despite the way he left Chels, I hope he does find fitness again and has a successful career, (as long as it isn't against us) he has great potential and would be a shame for it to be cut short.
M💰ney Mase got his dream move Yan, HE MADE IT! Personally i dont care about his career, i ve framed that picture from last season's game when we bet them at the bridge, Mason mount in the front devastated and cole in the background celebrating with disasi✨
As a Chelsea fan i have no interest in him any longer however as a talking point i wouldn't say his career is over yet it is stagnating due to injuries and the fact that when he does play for Utd he has zero impact and been completely ineffective..He got what he wanted which was 250k a week so no one should ever feel sorry for him.
For me, Mount did great and had potential to kick on to another level. Had we better finishers I think his assist count would’ve been higher.
However, I think he became more interested in his image rights and marketing. His form dropped, then he got injured. I’m not sure if his primary interest is still football, he’s happy getting the bag from Utd and has a UCL in his pocket as well as FAC at Utd.
I feel he’s one of those players that stops working as hard when they think they’ve made it. I think that’s what the directors etc thought and ultimately you have to say it was the right decision on current standing to sell him on.
After the CL win in 2021, he was never the same. His Chelsea departure video perfectly captures what he is now: Uninterested. It was the right decision to sell him. We move on.
Mount is basically Oscar, except he's English. We used to call Willian a defensive winger. Mount is a defensive 10 that never really learned how to play midfield and doesn't really have the skills for winger or the production for inside forward.
Definitely over in my book 100% the worst signing i have seen at Man united since 2004 … We even gave this bum the #7 shirt. That is a sackable offence for everyone involved
He is what Fellaini was for Mourinho at Man Utd., a very coachable player who will put in the dirty work around the final third and follow the coaches instructions to the letter.

I dont know what cause him to get so many injuries. was he overplayed? was he gaining muscles and weight to quickly, or was he just unlucky?

Mount is Uniteds Deli Ali.
Kai Havertz is rich man’s Dele Alli!

Why would he care? Mercenary has got his £250k a week.

Mount = worse version of Gallagher. That’s how you explain him. 7:27
Average player.

Short answer , yes
Mount is made to play in a 3 man midfield with one midfielder who’s better than him offensively and another that’s better defensively.

Mason mount is done and dusted. I'm very glad for him. He's done like his beloved club (Manu). It's just music to my ears the traitor…
