My Top 5 USMNT Strikers for the First WCQ Window: Sargent, Hoppe, Zardes, Dike, Siebatcheu in that order for me personally. I think Sargent should stay in Bund 2 and rack up goals and confidence. Then get bought in January or the summer. He needs consistent minutes and chances. Maybe he can play striker and drag players out to the right to allow Reyna to cut in and not congest the space at the top of the box. Hoppe might have the highest potential because of that extra gear and passion we have seen, but we will see. Zardes presses and makes space for other players with his movement which could be very good for Pulisic and Reyna who like to cut inside. I had Dike higher, but after the Gold Cup he couldn't connect the simplest passes. He has plenty of time being only 21, but he needs to improve technically. Siebatcheu had the header against Honduras which I am thankful, but I have not been impressed with him. Just subscribed.

Why is he playing on the wing? I thought Werder was ready to commit to him as the #9? If this continues, he ABSOLUTELY should move to a team that will let him play his natural position. We already have too many high quality more natural wingers like Pulisic, Weah, Reyna, Aaronson, Konrad, Ledezma, and Morris with kids like Cowell ready to step up as well.

know.
One game did not make a trend. We all needed to temper enthusism as old Josh reverted balance of 2021. One thing I did notice is his long wind up on shots. He needs to quicken (shorten) his leg delivery in 2022.
