Onana is a beast! He's 6'4, good tackler, relatively quick. Good football brain too. Mentioned at around 34 mil. Onana may come in as an 8, though he's really a 6 at Everton. May start as a 6 until Kamara comes back, and then Onana could possibly move to an 8.

As a belgian i can confirm onana is a very good footballer. Hes tall, aggressive, imposing, strong and loves a challenge. He had a class game against England earlier this year.

Interesting point about Onana being two footed. Gordon Cowans was that type of player, sometimes you couldn't tell which was his natural foot, fantastic passer of the ball!
Luke question for you – Gallagher/Onana/McKennie are all-action midfielders. But who will replace the technical skill and game intelligence of Dougie to CONTROL games? Would be afraid to rely on an injury prone Tielemans/Barkley for a season in this role. Thoughts?
I'd take him but if Villa are willing to spend £50mil on Onana why are they selling Douglas Luiz? Onana doesn't have the passing range and goal scoring ability of Dougie Luiz.
I think this will add the physicality that we have been lacking. He kind of reminds me of a Rudiger even though it's not the same position as Rudiger.. Good signing
I like The Villa ever since I went to the 3 1977 cup finals. No doubt Onana has big potential but in reality he is 4th choice behind Gana,Garner and Doucoure. he is a big personality big size and presence but in reality has not done it yet. For the money I am delighted to sell and if we can keep Branthwaite that is fantastic coz he is the real deal

Yes ever since his debut against Villa I was like who is this beast of a player still learning the game. Both footed yeah!
